Dimethylthio Tolune Diamine(DMTDA)-E300

1.Introduction

Dimethylthio Tolene Diamine(DMTDA)-E300 is equal to Ethancure 300. It is a very effective chain extender of polyurethane elastomer, in particular for RIM (reaction injection molding) and SPUA 

 

(Spray Polyurea Elastomer). Moreover, it can also be used as curing agent of polyurethane and 

 

epoxy resin , antioxidant of epoxy resin, industrial oil and lubricants. In addition,it can also serve as

 

intermediates in organic synthesis.

3.Uses: DMTDA is a kind of new polyurethane elastomer curing agent.

4.Processing:E-300, being a liquid at room temperature results in significant processing

 

advantages, for example, in such operation as transfer, melting down of solids is eliminated. Also, the

 

possibility of freezing-up is no longer a concern during mixing or in meter-mixing machines.

 

Additionally, its liquid state permits processing prepolymer at lower temperatures than that of MOCA.

 

E-300 has an equivalent weight of 107 compared to 133.5 for MOCA. This means that about

 

20% less by weight is required for a given prepolymer at the same stoichiometry.
